the rite of passage

Strange and yet amazing to have experienced my first mother's day... sort of like a rite of passage into true adult-hood - or maybe that's just my mommy insticts telling me I now have something beyond myself to care for. (not that Andrew wasn't included in this category already) All I know is that I am beyond thankful for this beautiful little girl - even at 3 in the morning when she wants to party and I would rather be sleeping! : ) Thank God for the amazing gift, and thank him for the amazing days I have and have yet to spend with her.
