I'm trying desperatly to be excellent in all I do these days... maybe it's me trying to make up for 9 mos of sick pregnant woman woe... or maybe I'm just trying to overcome the balance of being a mom and working 40 hours a week... I just know I've been recently reminded that it's this excellence that God calls me to in all areas of life - whether I feel like it or not. I'm clinging to the fact that God gives us the ness. strength to do ALL He's asked.

Emily, All I can say is you have a handle on the situation and well I know it may be a challenge but YOU will pull through.
just so you know, you don't always have to achieve excellence...you should always strive for it, but now that you are a parent you will have to settle for less-than-excellent days and projects...I think the key to your quote is that you should always be committed to excellence, but to keep the less-than excellent results that occur sometimes in perspective.
thanks for the perspective... finding balance, let alone excellence, these days is much harder than I thought it would be. However, I'm hoping things will level once graduation and wedding chaos is over.
